There are many psychiatric problems that impact women more often than men. These include major depressive disorder, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic disorders secondary to rape, physical and sexual abuse and domestic violence. Other challenges facing women patients relate to hormonal changes during pregnency, breastfeeding, the post-partum period, menopause and with infertility treatments.

I have a special interest in women's mental health and I believe in practicing integrated care and upon a patient's request I will work with infertility specialists, ob-gyn doctors and primary care physicians to achieve the best care for my women patients.
