I am a general psychiatrist in North Raleigh and my medical practice includes adults and adolescents beginning at age fifteen.  My goal is to provide high quality psychiatric care to my patients.  I begin with a careful evaluation of the individual and at the end of the evaluation I try to present my patients with a range of  possible treatment options.  I like my patients to be well informed and play an active role in planning treatment.  Treatment options may include, but are not limited to, counseling, behavioral interventions, and medications.  I maintain strict confidentiality and do not release records without permission.  I will work with primary care physicians, clergy, family members, or schools upon the patient's request.  I am active in professional societies and keep up to date with new information in the field of psychiatry.
